Magic Jack Reviews
Magic Jack is a gadget taking the US by storm for the simple fact that it enables users to make calls anywhere in the US or Canada for a set price, using VOIP technology. But never mind what it is and how it works. What are the real users of this product saying about it? We’ve scoured the web to bring you a host of Magic Jack reviews.
Back in the early days of its release, PC Magazine was one of a number of media outlets presenting its Magic Jack reviews to users, rating the product as “very good.” They also presented it their Editor’s Choice Award.
However, in February 2009 the magazine re-reviewed the device and rated it ‘good,’ as opposed to ‘very good,’ following user complaints. However, the complaint was not with the functionality of the gadget itself and more related to its advertising policy.
The only other negative complaint frequenting reviews is that there is no un-installation method built into the software. However, Magic Jack has rectified this by creating an uninstall utility available for download from its website. With that taken care of, we’re able to switch our focus onto the actual device itself and how it can benefit users.
The blogosphere is alight with praise for the gadget, bloggers insisting that it is ‘an excellent alternative to a second phone’, makes ‘long distance calling affordable,’ and is ‘really simple to use.’ With all that praise, why would you not take advantage?
It goes without saying, having played around plenty with Magic Jack, that we’re in agreement with the general opinions of the blogosphere. Ok, ok, so advertising can be annoying. But don’t we simply come to expect it in our consumer driven society? And you don’t buy Magic Jack for the ads – you buy it for the money it can save you in calls.
Free calls to any US or Canadian number, regardless of which country you are and free Magic Jack to Magic Calls anywhere in the world is impressive. But what more and more bloggers are picking up on in their reviews is the cheap availability of international calls.
Take the UK, for example. You can call Britain (mobiles or landlines) for a maximum 23 cents per minute with Magic Jack. You would certainly struggle to find a better deal than that through any landline or cell provider.
Easy to install, a comprehensive knowledge-base available directly on the Magic Jack website, cheap calling and absolutely minimal technical hitches mean that we’re giving the product a certain thumbs up. Still not convinced? Then see for yourself! Grab your 30 day free trial right now!
